How To Access DataGPM data are organized by field campaigns. These campaigns are listed below.
Please read the following to determine the specifics of data available from each of these sources. 1. HyDRO -Quality controlled, fully documented data are available from the Global Hydrology Resource Center (GHRC). The data are prepared by the PIs and submitted to the GHRC following a mission. HyDRO, a search and order engine, offers a number of services for selecting and bundling data for download. If you want large quantities of data and full documentation this is the best option. 2. FTP Server - The latest quality controlled data are available from the server. These published data are the same data that are available in HyDRO. The ftp server datasets are organized by instruments and offer a convenient way to download small quantities of data. 3. Portals - During field campaigns data are uploaded from the field to Mission Specific portals by the science team, instrument scientists and mission managers. These data are preliminary and are not typically considered quality controlled. These data remain on the portal following the mission, and are removed when the data becomes quality controlled and published in HyDRO. Portal access is restricted to the mission team and those approved by the mission team. To gain access to the portal you must sign in with a username and password. If you need access please contact the GHRC Web Team for assistance. 4. Other - Not all data are maintained by the GHRC. Mission partners also have data from each campaign. This data can be accessed from the partner websites. This category may also contain overall mission summary files. For further information contact the GHRC User Services Office |
