The initial “beta” datasets from the Lightning Imaging Sensor on the International Space Station (ISS LIS) are now in soft release at the GHRC DAAC, available online but not yet cataloged and published. These data include standard and near-real-time products containing lightning observations and background imagery. The GHRC is currently generating products from the beginning of the mission (March 1) forward. The datasets will be published when the back-processing is complete.
