Flt 10 LASE measurements over Hurricane Earl (2)

LASE operated well during this flight.  In the early part of the flight aerosol layer over 0-3 km altitude region was seen.  Two dropsondes were launched  to infer characteristics of the aerosol layer.  Most of the flight was in clouds but the eye was profiled during 7 crossings with simultaneous aerosol, water vapor, and cloud observations sometimes all the way to the surface.
