Conducted a survey of system PGI44 which has been upgraded to a tropical storm. Completed four planned over-flights of the center with drops and conducted an additional box pattern near the core. Dropped 21 sondes, all but two were successful. MMS maneuvers were conducted at 10,000, Mach 0.7 but were cut short as a precaution due to unexpected noise in cabin. Aircraft expected to be ready to fly at next mission opportunity. |
