APR-2 Status for 21 Sep - Post Flight

We collected data in a local flight from St. Croix; we had no problems with the instrument.  The first objective was a CloudSat underpass.  We flew first S on the underpass line to determine the type of clouds/precipitation on the line.  We then waiting at the S end and then flew north during the underpass.  It appears that the timing and collocation were good.  APR2 collected a variety of data, including some precipitation and anvil cloud.  The data should be very useful in comparisons with CloudSat radar data.  Following this, we acquired data in PGI46.  APR2 observed primarily light rainfall.
