Flt 12 LASE Flight Earl #3

LASE operated well during this flight. During the early part of the flight, LASE observed a dust layer between 3-4 km. Based on this information, the DC8 flew into this layer to allow sampling of the aerosol by the LARGE instruments. Dust was observed during later portions of this flight also. LASE observed high water vapor in the center and southeast of Earl, and drier air to the northwest.
