Instrument performed well up until just before the calibration module over the Gulf of Mexico. The pilot noted a fail light and then reset the instrument. It came back okay and we obtained data the remainder of the flight. The fail light was due to an overheating of the HIWRAP computer processor. A cover over an opening on the data system will be removed before the next flight to help cool the processor.
