May 19 POD Update 2
NOTE: WE WILL MEET IN THE FAIRFIELD LOBBY AT 0400 LOCAL TO DISCUSS THE WEATHER SITUATION.
Based on the afternoon forecast briefing, the models were bringing the precipitation over the SGP-CF earlier.
We have asked for a 1200 UTC (0700 CDT) ER-2 take off. We have asked Citation to accommodate a 1300 UTC (0800 CDT) take off time.
Chris Jennison does not want a T-5 call. In this situation, he would prefer to discuss COSMIR status and how that might affect our mission plan for the day at 0930 UTC (0430 CDT), which is hands off time for the ER-2. So, WE WILL MEET AT 0400 LOCAL in the lobby of the Fairfield to discuss the weather situation. Please pass the word.

We are in position at SGP now (10Z). A major MCS is on our doorstep. Completely un-forecasted of course.
