May 9 Mission Science Report

Nada (great day for laundry though).
We scrubbed the ER-2 early for lack of enough defined opportunity forecast and also to enable more work to be done on instruments (AMPR- 37 and 85 V channel testing; and CoSMIR heaters).
NPOL AC issue persists but is being managed by the crew until proper fix. They will swap AC units between trailors in the morning.
All else seems up and ready.......for eventual precip that looks to be here possibly tomorrow and with a much higher likelihood on Wednesday.
Nominal take off planned for ER-2 tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2100 UTC for convection. Citation on alert. DOE wants to launch every 3 hours starting tomorrow at 0630 CDT.
