ER-2 Flight Report 11-6041
Saturday, May 7, 2011
This was a water calibration flight over several selected buoys in the Gulf of Mexico. It was also a test of fixes made to the three science instruments since the last flight more than a week ago. The aircraft achieved all objectives and completed the flight on schedule. There are no aircraft issues, and crew and aircraft continue to be ready for flight. Initial post flight analysis indicates good data collected by the HIWRAP instrument, but some data loss by the COSMIR and AMPR instruments. The REVEAL instrument failed to function during this flight.
