Instrument Debrief for LIP Sortie Number: 05-9028 Instrument Performance: Data system and most sensors continue to operate excellently. We still have noise problems on the conductivity probe channel 1 (CP1). We believe the problem may be a mechanical instability. Additional measures taken after flight to tighten up wires and supports within the front end. Some small electric fields observed with cloud overpasses. At least one lightning discharge observed late in the mission. Note: This mission actually occured on July 15, 2005 with a 0558:50 UTC take-off (which corresponds to 2358:50 local time (7/14/2005). |
