Precipitation over NE Colorado expected to begin around Saturday 21Z and will move into Nebraska by 09Z Sunday. The next few days shows signs of warm frontal precipitation over Kansas and possibly a chance of storms over Oklahoma Monday night and Tuesday night as a front begins to move through the area. Extended forecast calls for an upper level ridge to form Wednesday.

Forecast for Day 0:
No precipitation over Oklahoma.
Upper level jet trough is beginning to dig into the western US. This is what will be forcing any precipitation in Colorado. There is a surface low pressure system centered over the panhandle of Texas with a warm front extending from western Kansas to Illinois.
Forecast for Eastern Colorado: Models show precipitation beginning in central Colorado at around 21Z and moving over eastern Colorado by 03Z. By 09Z the precipitation will mainly be over western Nebraska and southern Wyoming. The warm front may trigger some precipitation in central Kansas at around 09Z.
Forecast for Day 1:
Warm frontal precipitation will continue for the majority of Kansas throughout the day. Surface low pressure system will move to Oklahoma panhandle. Flow over Ponca City will be SE bringing a lot of moisture and heat into the area, however there is little chance of precipitation.
Forecast for Day 2:
Surface low pressure system will begin to move out of the area, into western Kansas. This will cause a front to begin to move through central Oklahoma sometime in the afternoon maybe triggering some convection.
It should be noted that the models are in disagreement on any precipitation.
Extended Outlook:
Another chance of some thunderstorms on Tuesday as the front continues to pass through central Oklahoma.
Wednesday an upper level ridge will begin to build over the western US, this will lessen the possibilities of precipitation Wednesday.
