Region dominated by high pressure through Wednesday. Wednesday night/Thursday morning shows next marginal chance of precipitation occurring over region due to frontal passage.

Forecast for Day 1: 

High pressure dominates region. Low pressure will begin forming NW of region late Wednesday night.  Warm front sets up well north of ICT to MCI.  Best potential for overrunning along this front well north of SGP.

Forecast for Day 2: 

Marginal chance of precipitation occurring early morning into afternoon in vicinity of SGP due to overrunning in AM, frontal passage around 20 UTC.  Chance of light stratiform precip over PNC in the morning (<0.05").  Convection initiating later in the day 150-200 km east of PNC with diurnal heating along cold front.  Low probability of convection within quantitative range of radar coverage.  Heavier precip (>0.25") over Greeley during day on Tuesday - could be a backup plan if system doesn't pan out over SGP.  Given lack of precip in forecast, would recommend potential alert - proposed launch time of 12 UTC Thursday for ER2.

Extended Outlook: 

Next possible precipitation event: Tuesday - major cyclone forming over the southern Plains.

Keep an eye out for a system over the Rockies for the transit flight Thursday next week.
