- Frame sucessfuly installed. Working on wiring interface connection

HAMSR – green. Worked very well. Fine tuning

HIWRAP – yellow but can still fly; software / hardware (bad board or connector) problems
Friday – Combined System Test
Saturday – Range Test
Tuesday – high altitude drop test in Range

HIRAD delayed. Ship on 23Monday; Arrive on Wednesday, Fly on Thursday as a checkout unless target is in the Gulf.
AMPR arrives on 7Sept
Suitcase flights will be out of MacDill AFB, Tampa FL

Ed Zipser leaving on Friday (returning 31Aug) with John Molinari in town through 7Sept as Mission Scientist
Aircraft status – green.
- LASE – green. Very good shape
- LARGE – green. Calibration on the plane today
- APR2 – green.
- DAWN – insulation fix today on the plane. Trailer arrived. Electrician power trailer by tomorrow. LaRC personnel working on alternative solutions (adding a fan and heat source in the can – no de-integration required)
- Microphysics – all but CSI are green. CSI awaiting pylon remanufacture at least another week
- MMS – green.
- Dropsonde – green.
Alert to PGI-27 cancelled at 01Z (2100 ET) since system not expected to move into the Gulf.
Possibility of PGI-27 crossing Yucatan Pen and into the Bay of Campeche. Keeping an eye on the system.
