Conducted a survey of Karl with six passes over the center of circulation with a butterfly pattern about the eye on the final pass. Flew several coordinated legs with both the Global Hawk and WB-57 aircraft. Launched 29 drops. Lost contact prematurely with several of the drop-sondes which was attributed to the high level of precipitation. Conducted MMS maneuvers at 16,000 ft and Mach 0.5. |
